You probably have heard of the woman who sued McDonald's for getting burned with hot coffee. While this case isn't as [insert your own opinion here] as that case, it is quite amazing when you stop and think about it. If you haven't yet heard, Trina Thompson is suing Monroe College in the Bronx Supreme Court. Why is the 27 year old suing for $70,000? That's the cost of her tuition.
